In this video I’ll explain how to really knock their socks off in your interviews. This info will also work in networking situations

There are very few candidates who understand how to really answer an interview question. Use this technique and you can be the candidate to beat.

Preparation is really important. But you also want to understand this concept so you can answer any question even if it’s the first time you’ve been asked.

Today’s reality:
Hiring Managers fear making a hiring decision mistake
More candidates = more confusion
Hiring decisions ultimately will boil down to chemistry

One thing to keep in mind: adult onset ADD

3 layers to answering questions
1. The facts: brief, maybe a story

2. Marketing: identify skills/experiences important to the new position and high light them
Toot your own horn by quoting previous bosses, clients, peers, etc., about the results they got working with you and how they felt about working with you.

3. Create chemistry
Listen for that special phrase in their small talk that you can pursue. Let them talk about something they like; most candidates won’t pick up on the lead.
Use inclusive terms: “you, we, us” as a way to start building a relationship.
